    Reporter : "..said he wasn't hopeful about progress today.."

    1st line from guy's mouth : "I'm hoping we can make progress today....."

    Your dead right. That annoys the hell out of me. But its not just RTE. Most "news" programmes do it.
    Maybe they're afraid that if us imbiciles saw unedited footage, without a voice-over or intro, that we might make our own puny minds up??
