Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

need help to get use of a milling machine

    hi there im the frist person to admit i dont know much about engineering ...but im kind of working on an idea at the moment where i need to cut into some copper block about 12mm thick and about 3" by 3" if you take a look here you will see what im on about any help with this would be great ....ive got a car and i will drop of the block and maybe cross your hand with some sliver and more to the point you would be helping out a fellow boards.ie member :cool: follow the link to see what im doing with it

    looks great, as nobody else offered anything I can only think of one thing, someone in FAS might take it on as a project for you with their class, as its a little experiment with no finincial gain for anyone then you could be in luck

    most seconday schools in ireland that teach enginering have milling machines
