    Well i may sound like a complete twat but some of the cartoons on cartoon network on sky digital are pretty cool

    and strangely its 24 hours so whenever i'm bored at 4am i can flick it on and find a half decent show.


    Any thoughts of bringing up POkemon as a good cartoon will result in me closing the topic


    strangley though japanese cartoons which are not aimed at 18s manga die hard blood baths (they r on sci-fi channel)
    are actually soometimes good

    dragonball z is pretty cool
    so' gundam wing and this wierd one called Escaflowne

    ahh well wha was uer favourite kids programme????

    Of course BOSCO was a classic

    have to agree with BlitzKrieg. Cartoon Network is da best. and it caters even for the drunken/stoned people when all they show at 3am (if i can remember this) is The Magic Roundabout and Blinky Bill which sends you straight to sleep. we salute you cartoon network.

    The best cartoon I've seen in ages was Family Guy, but thats vanished...

    Futurama has also become a lot better, still not quite as good as The Simpsons though. And God, The Devil & Bob is pretty funny - pity its been cancelled by those P.C. americans frown.gif

    As for non funny ones..... Transformers all the way biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

    As for starship troopers, Its classy . I looked into it once ,apparently done in max 4 , Im agog though , I think the best ive gotten out of that is a square . Beyond that Johnny Bravo , BattleTech , Dextors Lab , IR Weasel so on so forth

    cartoon. animation , be it digital or traditional is a cartoon. in my opinion.

    it might be more modern than micky mouse, but South Park telly series was done entirly digital. is that not a cartoon??

    well actually southpark started out as a hand drawn cartoon, and was changed to being digitally made when it became popular.
    notice they kept the simplistic graphics to make it look like a CARTOON and not a DIGITALLY ANIMATED SERIES.
    technically it is a D.A.S. but ill let it be counted as a cartoon because it has managed to keep its original look.

    actually..... every episode of southpark you'll ever see on telly, is done digitally. only for a few scenes in the movie did they use construction paper. sorry but your wrong. how can one series, be called a cartoon because of the way it looks, and another not, even though it's done in the same manner.
