Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    My opinion:

    I was a huge fan of 'Meet The Parents'... i wanted to like this trailer!

    But i didn't!

    The trailer just isn't funny enough to seperate it from the mediocre comedies coming out of the US.

    Though, i still think that DeNiro and Hoffman will be great viewing. But it's Barbara Streisand and weak jokes that will really kill the film, i'd say.

    Its getting very positive feedback from early viewings. As good as (if not better) than the original. And I hear Streisand and Hoffman steal the show (particularly Streisand)...

    I wouldn't believe half of the reviews to do with Advanced Screenings on 'Ain't It Cool News' and 'IMDB'...

    If either Harry Knowles, Moriarty or Quint reviews a film on AICL, it's a real review of the film. All the others are just basically e-mails from random people..

    Most of them are plants for the company releasing the film to build up hype!

    Though i do agree with Mike's point... i've seen plenty of films that have had sh*t trailers but have been great films.

    I loved 'Meet The Parents' - but i can't say i've high hopes for this one!

    well i think the actual clips in the trailer look quite poor but i think as a trailer it works and the film looks will be something id enjoy

    I really enjoyed the original and am looking forward to this. I don't put much faith in trailers anyhow. But i do find Barbara Streisand annoying.
