Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Don't buy this card :D

After much issues with my machine, I traced it back to this card. Machine was freezing when large quantities of data were being moved around (using the CD drives, copying CD images around) and it's generally causing the machine to lag and jump.

Did a google, and found plenty of people with similar issues, all on different machines, different motherboards, different OSs. Some people found fixes, most didn't. It seems to be a problem with IRQ settings but the BIOS on my motherboard (Abit KD7-A) isn't overly friendly, and the manual is no help. From what I gather, the card needs to be assigned a dedicated IRQ (i.e. not a shared one) from the BIOS, and not PnP from Windows. In this day and age, that's ridiculous. Anyway, my machine doesn't seem to have an option to assign fixed IRQs, so I'm gonna have to go buy a new card.

It gets frustrating. I've to disable the card to play games, burn CDs, copy large files, etc. Sometimes it just freezes randomly.

D-Link seem to refuse to acknowledge the issue. :(
