Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

using my way just under an hour
it depends on how long you are waiting for the bus and dart

You dont want to get a taxi from houston they'll rob you blind. best to use the bus/dart way.

can you not get the dart from conolly to dun Laore (sp)

if so you could just get the luas no?

Get the Luas from heuston to connolly station.
The Luas should be faster than the bus.
You can get a feeder ticket for luas and dart.
The dart will about 25 minutes to get from connolly to dun laoghaire.
To get to the ferry terminal will take less than 5 minutes, depending on how many bags you have.
Single Dart fare is €1.80, not sure about luas.
If you're going on the weekend, the darts don't run on the northside, so you'll have to get to Pearse Street dart station if you want to get the dart.

www.irishrail.ie you can check the train times from station to station.

If you're not getting the dart, get the no. 7 bus.
Ask the driver to let you off at dun laoghaire station.
If he's sound he'll even give you a shout when you're there.
The 7 is the quickest bus to dun laoghaire.

It depends on the time...I have found off peak that the 9O Bus is faster than the Luas.

Not sensible in general, especially as sailing times can change to suit weather / tides / etc.

It is a long time since tides have been a factor for the Holyhead route, the HSS has a relatively shallow draft and Irish Ferries terminal is in deep water.

The only effect weather has is to make the HSS very late or cancelled.

The 90 to Butt Bridge and train from Tara St. is the quickest bar the morning rush when the Luas might be a little quicker.

Take it from someone who gets the bus from town everyday...

the 7 is not the quickest bus, get the 46a.
