    In addition to the Eircom Pairgain Removal Promotion that is running from Now till Mid January , Eircom have also introduced a free connection for in situ lines promotion from November 5th to end January .

    In Situ (Existing) lines are normally connected by Eircom for €25. For the next 3 months its free. If you are in a flat or house and think that the line may work for BB you simply ring them up and tell them to connect.

    Make sure you :

    1. AGREE with them while ordering that it is in situ , Eircoms database can be very inadequate . If Eircom are adamant on the phone that the line is NOT in situ they will try to sting your for €125 and not €0 for the install.
    2. Tell them that the connection is conditional on their testing the line for BB immediately , you are not waiting a month for it.
    3. Tell them you will pay them one month line rental of €24.20 and cut it off again within the month if it has not passed for BB within the month.
