I arrived late from Dublin on Friday cause of College in DIT. There was a few cars around, a sign of the ppl we are pulling into these events??? Anyway, the place looked great. 3 rows of tables full with PC's and a row at the top for the n00bs... I had to say the first night it was a bit chilly. We must look into how to get those huge heaters working. The place was also very bright. I said hello to a few ppl then grabbed my machine and got straight into the CS game that was happening. I played till 4am that morning and left for home, a mile away. The basket ball was fun, The Jackle was the ****test shooter next to me while Mak was virtually a Pro. I had a good 1 on 1 with the Butcher where he bet me by 3 points, methinks.
Syxpak was up the top of the n00bs table where every was drawn to his gravity asking him for this and that. But thank god for most of the time I'd say he played games. I played against him in Quake3. It was Vega and me Versus Timeout and him. I have to say that it was the closest match ever with me and syxpak locked at 6 kills and vega and timeout on 15 and 16(timeout) the only reason they won was cause they hid at the end and we couldn't find them. Vega played a killer with his Quad damage. This will be a game I'll play a bit more now at home.
Asok, tbh, I didn't see that much of. I bought 2 bags of ripp off crisps for €0.50 each...wtf

Asok has been thru the pro gamer session and has basically retired from playing anything.
Dementor and Termanator played us in the first Quake3 event. We played a few times and then when the servers were worked out we played them again. It was a relatively close match but in the end we easily pulled away from them. Go team erm... 5 was it???
Next on the list was cyan, I didn't see him there. Was looking forward to seeing him playing quetzal again. [RaVen], don't know who he was and didn't see the name pop up anywhere. Toxick was the CS organiser and played on the team with penguin, jackle and some others (sorry I don't have the list). I think we played them in CS and hammered them, 14 - 1??? MAK was our main CS player and it was unfortunate that he didn't play in the final (we had to merc out the L337 Drake), but the games he play were amazing. I also played with him in RavenShield and we wiped the floor with Jackle, penguin and someone else...
Next up on the list(compiled by room101.org) was RuFFty who played a blinder and who also caused some upsets in the Quake3 I believe... I only played against RuFFty in the non competition games, I don't think I played against him in the competition. I put him in the top5 cs'er there.
Slyce, don't know who he was, Myutwo33, moe, John Deere, Dancing_priest, Strangelove, Ivan, stewballs, Zhukov, didn't see u there. Perhaps u had diff alisas...
Goku, the ever loyal Lanner with his class perspecs case appeared with his herd from Cleggan (west, way west Galway):Hawkes, Butcher and Termanator oh and Jah later on. Dentensu, no where to be seen. Goku, I hope u've loads of Pics. Also that new board of urs the Zboard cleaned up ur CS skillz. well pld. Oliver, what can I say, he was an excellent AWP'er and played on our CS team. We also missed him in the finals and merced Hawkes who put me to shame in the first half of the final. Quetzal, what can I say. Seems as if he has grown up and I heard less arguements stem from him. Organiser and co-winner of Quake3, well pld. Nadir, the Unix guru. Played unbelieveably in all the CS teams. Seriously we couldn't have gotten a better team. At the start Toxic and I thought that Anima would clean the board with us but on the day let us down, thank god. We also seeded ppl so as not to have unfair teams. It just so happened that our team did some serious taticts at the start of every game and they played off. It did take a while tho for some to cop on... no name...
Exploded fiber is next on my list, I didn't see him playing much so; no comment. I beleive he played CS and did ok. Mikill, from irc played very well. But that was to be expected. Another top 5 player, along with Mak, RuFFty, Anima and Caliden, and drake (but he was loads late, so I didn't see play too much) Genesis, I expected to see but learned that his PC went belly up, good CS'er, and quake player. Gangsta I presume was on the same team as penguin and jackle and toxic. I didn't see him playing at all tbh. tman at the top getting pissed played nothing I was in, I expect he wanted to play UT2004... Elexes never turned up? ARGINITE the new swinger of uber cool blades that he won with quetzal. tbh, it looks like He-mans blade, I don't know... Jehuty, I rated as a good CS player but dissapeared during some of his rounds and missed out. (i'm speeding up here now, sorry) Doodee kicked my ass luckily in CS in the first half. I wasn't playing right at all. He ran thru all my bullets I swear then deagled me. Bastard. Good to see u, go to college. I've not seen u today. Timeout I saw playing DC and quake and CS, a well rounded player. Caliden the ADN| player graced us with his nationally acclaimed presence. Good player, Pw0ned him a few times... Falcon a new recruit to LAN's brought his animal of a machine, methinks a 64bit with a terrabyte hd... He must learn the rules to CS but was a good addition to the event. Thanks for coming along. Drake arrived very late on sat just as I was leaving to go out that night. He wanted to merc for anyone and everyone. Great CS player, perhaps playing along side him made me nervous during the final... Butcher, what can I say. the heavy weapons specialist who could head shot anyone a mile a way, then turn a corner and blow 2 more guys to ****... Well rounded CS player. Ronan|raven, was another at the n00bs table who I didn't see playing much. Must have the Asok gene>>>??? Finally Felix the person to my left. arrived late again and mainly leeched

ah no played CS and was ok. Don't know the name of the army dude in the gas mask to my right, saw him play loads of need for speed. Also nearly forgot Neo (who is not on my list) played a killer game of CS on our squad. I wanted to play W3 against him but I was limited for time.

Also who has my CS CZ CD???

Well seeing as I dont play CS or ever intend to you arent going to see me joining in with ye

I played plenty of Battlefield and Battlefront over the weekend along with a few Q3 friendlies and some UT2004.

Played on the review Sniipe.

Overall, the weekend went very well.
CS matches throughout were excellent
as were the Q3 2on2s.
Thought the place was freezing during the night but
other than that the venue was top notch.

Thanks to the usual peeps for getting it all together
and Sniipe for hooking us up with the venue.

Your honor, I object, I only leeched for about 2 hrs on Sunday while waiting for another CS game to start

besides, lets be honest here, I still suck donkey balls at CS. I lost track of how many times I got slaughtered. Thankfully it happened less often due to Anima playing on the same team as me, my head is CS must be a magnet for his bullets!
