...well according to one Rupert Murdoch anyway.

Saw this on the AP feed I have access to at a client's site...couldn't resist.
    Rupert Murdoch insisted Tuesday
that his Fox News Channel was not biased in favor of U.S.
President George W. Bush and that News Corp., his global
media empire, was a fair and balanced company.
Speaking at the company's annual general meeting in the
southern Australian city of Adelaide, Murdoch said Fox
News' reporting was more balanced than other U.S. networks.
«It's full of Democrats and Republicans, the others only
have Democrats. We don't take any position at all,»
Murdoch said in response to a question about Fox's
impartiality. «We're not in the least bit biased, we're a
    fair and balanced company.»
But Murdoch said News Corp. newspapers would continue to
    support Bush's foreign policy.
«With our newspapers, we have indeed supported Bush's
foreign policy and we remain that way,» Murdoch said.
Murdoch would only speculate about the impact on the
economy should Sen. John Kerry, the Democrat candidate, win
    the election on Nov. 2.
«I have no idea. He says he has plans but he won't tell
us what they are,» Murdoch said.
He said financial markets would probably respond more
favorably if Bush wins the presidency.
«I think you'll get a lift to the market and you'll get
continuation of his tax reduction program which will help,
and interest rates will stay low, probably,» Murdoch said.

I guess there are very people who actually admit to being biased, but dear Lord...this man is so agile with the truth he should give up media and look for a prominent international-politics position ;)

I think during his recent interview with bush he referenced his performance in the first debate as "a little flat" or something. Sean hannitys style of interview is genuinely funny.Hysterical rantings against any random democrat swinging to absolute sycophancy to whoever is representing the GOP.Its all wonderfully histrionic stuff.
In fact despite the very serious misuse of media that FNC represents , for all its evils doesnt anyone find it entertaining?I confess i watch it more than any other channel by a wide margin. Its a winning formula, the right lap it up while the left cant help but get off on the sense of outrage, I know I cant help but grin incredulously at every little seemingly insignificant jab O'Reilly or whoever throws kerrys way.If you ask me they have all the bases covered, Must watch TV :)

Its funny , especially the O'Reilly factor (for me anyway) , because he loves to talk about Iraq and Bush and be completely for and balnced and in the 'No Spin Zone' .

When I saw this today, just after the news of John Peel on bbc.co.uk, I thoght I'dcrack up.
Check out Outfoxed. Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism. I bought it from the producers at$9.95. In fact the post and packing was more expensive.
    But well worth getting.
