Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

West Brom manager Gary Megson has been relieved of his duties at The Hawthorns with immediate effect.

The announcement comes after Megson said earlier on Tuesday he would be leaving at the end of the season.

"I won't sign a new contract," he had said. "I've a contract until 30 June and I intend to carry on until then."

Now, however, it seems the Baggies have decided to let Megson go ahead of that time, and have installed assistant boss Frank Burrows as caretaker manager.

The club have issued instructions to the Albion squad not to speak to the media over Megson's dismissal.

No surprise really. How manys that now?

    Mike.

Dunno but this one has been on the cards since the season kicked off imho. The managers of the newly promoted teams are onto a loser straight away unless they find a wayward Russian Oil Billionaire to buy the club and use it as their personal plaything. (You don't want a yank one! They tend to asset strip the place!)
