It's Mainly only those two in it, realistically!

So what? You're only going to vote for whoever you think will win? It's like a poll asking which is your favourite team - Manchester United or Arsenal.

I think this could be a big part of the reason why there are only really two (and that's being generous) competitive parties in the US - backing a winner is more important than expressing their opinions.

You actually think you need to ask that on Boards?

You are new here aren't you? :D

There are a few GWB supporters in the area but I think they generally keep their heads down for fear of getting them bitten off. If it was a secret ballot you might get some takers.

    Nader!!!!
There is also Badnarik, David Cobb and many others...depending on what state your voting in.

As for "only ones really in it" that's very hard to say considering that all indications are that this will be a record turn out election.
I would expect anyone outside of America to know that.

It's Badnarik or Cobb for me. F Nader. Nader isn't a 3rd party guy, he's a Ralph Nader guy. He took the Green endorsement in '96, but did nothing with it. He took the Green endorsement in '00, but while running hard for HIMSELF, did nothing for the Greens. And now, rather than backing the Green candidate, he's backing himself.
Voting for Nader, as opposed to some other fringe candidate, is NOT an endorsement of 3rd parties, but an endorsement of megalomania, narcissism, and self absorption. The problem I have with Badnarik and the Libertarians is that they are very pro-guns and that doesnt sit well with me.

Don't forget about The Socialist Party, The Socialist Equality Party and The Socialist Workers Party. Like in the Life of Brian, right?
