They got slashdotted yesterday, so the site was hammered. The registration is probably a temporary measure.

Worth reading, though... the death threats are hilarious.

Hate when this happens...same when a website is mentioned on Fark, an hour or two later it is down. The first time that Comical Ali website was mentioned, it went down for two days or something under the flood of visitors!

Its not something that you can easily link. They moved it around to stop slashdot, even after you register (bugmenot will work eventually but probably better registering).

From what I read so far. They managed to get the scammer to send them $200 and send them 6 or 7 boxes of garbage (which the scammer paid for).

This is equal with the Cthulu 419 scam

Well it's been 10 minutes of refreshing yahoo mail for me.
Still nothing.
Although this could be Yahoos fault, they're usualy quite slow for this sort of thing.

im totally amazed at how much trouble they went through to get a result especially later on in the story when others accuire information about the scammers....amazing....

when you register on that forum,just do a search for the thread....i put cash check and it comes up straight away....enjoy read...

some people just manage to get stupid pictures from the scamers and waste alot of their time

Indeed and not forgetting they are paying him to take box loads of junk off his hands and ship the half way around the world,

Updated!! check now- not only does the scammer know he's a "white male man", with "shirt and shoes" he now knows that he has a house with "a table and Lamp" he's getting closer!!

they are upgrading it soon afaik
