Maximising opening windows in IE

    Does anybody knoe how to make my IE6 "new windows" open maximised in XP?
    I've tried everything and I can't make it work !!
    Where are the settings for this?

    Think I know the answer.... one sec, gonna try it out...

    Ok, open whatever window it is e.g internet explorer, then maximise it, the hold alt and clik the x to close the window, next time you open it it should be maximised...

    Does for me with XP... I have tested it 3 times and whatever size i put the window at, when i hold alt and close the window it opens at the same size i closed it at

    right click the shortcut that starts ie, then choose properties, then choose run in maximaized window.
