GTA san andreas IS IT 2 player?

    Hi

    the rumours have been flying anyone out there with the game and is it 2 player if so is it like onlne multiplayer of 2 player split screen?

    Not online - but 2 people can play at the same time once you get to a point in the game where you meet up with a chick (cant remember her name). She then helps you out or does her own thing.

    Once you have a girlfriend she can be controlled by the second pad on some missions. Firing out the window ETC AFAIK You gotta bring her on dates to keep her happy first though.

    Nope as soon as ya complete that mission for the cop (samual l jackson) and rescue the girl in the meantime then you can play two-player immeadatly afterwards.

    below explains how the get two player:
    after you drop her home, you be able to take her on a date if you come back while not on a mission, by walking into the big heart outside her house.... but if wanna play two-player game then go to the front door of her house and you'll see an icon of two-people. stand in the icon and press start on a controller 2 (which should be plugged in) and then the two-player game will start, [this one in particular being the free-roam], where player 1 is carl and player 2 is the gf.
    its really great fun as ye can run anywhere ye want and drive most things (only thing that didn't work was a bmx).
    there are restrictions such as ye have to stay on same screen, only one vehicle allowed to be used, limited to weapons that player 1 has (which didn't work well for me as had crap all bullets for my machine-pistol left so drive bys were short lived)

    You'll find a good few two player games scattered all around San Andreas. Some are in the form of missions, others are free roam.

    All you have to do is step inside an icon and press any button on player 2 pad.

    Loads of fun in store
