Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

UK channels with indoor aerial in Lucan

I have a little tv in my first floor bedroom in Lucan, with an indoor aerial connected.
    I recieve RTE 1, Net 2, TV3 and TG4.
Today i pressed the wrong channel button on the remote and got a very snowy E4 picture.
I am able to recieve E4, SkyOne, SkyNews (maybe others) but the picture is very snowy / noisy.
How can I improve the signals, without installing an outdoor aerial?
Will the boosters in the Argos catalogue do ?

You are getting an overspill there from cable.
In other words from a nearby NTL or chorus cable - the signal is leaking from a nearby wire.

The only way to reasonably improve it is to connect and subscribe, a booster aerial from argos is unlikely to help.

ahhh thats what that little box above the tv is.
wonder if i can connect the cables in there to the tv without the gardai knocking on my door?
    LOL
    wierd one - leaking cable

sure there is no way to boost the signal ?

    another question
in the Argos cat. there are 2 types of boosters
one of them plugs into the mains socket
whats the difference ? which is better ?
