i disagree i think kerry would probably have gone for a different approach than bush's heavy handed "kill all dem terrorists".

even though it doesn't seem like that because of the way he was forced to campaign in this election

His running mate said pretty much that when asked about insurgents/terrorists. Really no difference.

Kerry would pull out the troops, and leave the anyone left to die. He'd also pull out troops from Afghanistan, and South Korea, to make "America safer".

He volunteered to go for the election. No-one forced him.

I don't think either candidate were suggesting pulling out of Iraq or Afghanistan now that the US is committed.

Bush knows all about that. It's his biggest voter.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,811 ✭✭✭✭billy the squid

Votes in florida and ohio could still be being cast as late as midnight US time the turnout really did take them by surprise didnt it.

BBC reports one person had to wait 8 and a half hours to vote.

gah i predicted a win for bush, i'm sad to be proven right again :P

I doubt those votes will be counted at all Bush has Florida so there is no point in counting votes once it's called. Ohio is going Bush's way.....it's Kerry's only chance, if that goes then Kerry will probably trow in the towel.
