Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Me neither. Can't imagine what a cramp in the tongue would feel like.

I get that twitchy lower eye-lid thing sometimes. You think everyone can see it. They can't, but it's so weird...

I have never got a cramp in my tongue before, didn't think it was possible, altho seeing as there are muscles in your tongue I guess it would be. Were you like eating mountains of food?

koneko, I get that twitchy eye thing also, so annoying, seeminly caused by stress, altho what type of stress sleeping/eating/reading/arseing around causes I have yet to find out.

I get that twitchty eye thing aswell. Mainly get it when I'm tired and inparticular when I'm working late and I've been staring at a computer screen for hours on end.

Re: Tongue Cramp. I've had it a few times but only when I've been flicking the bean for too long!

The eye twitch thing is caused by a lack of potassium in your body.
Eat some bananananananas next time and you should be sorted! ;)

I get one of these nearly every week. A massive yawn followed by extreme pain on the underside of my chin. It kills me. And when it happens in a public place i just have to sit there and bottle it up and pray it goes away soon. So ****ing sore!!

No it's not. It's caused by tiredness and stress.

Not gotten a cramp in it, but i've done some damage to it a few times. Y'know that bit of tight skin underneath that seems to hold your tongue to the base of your mouth? Stretched it and the aching I got from it was quite serious. It was worse though, the cramp I got in my jaw at the time :(

    Yo Koneko,
That is from tiredness and/or lack of sleep. Used to happen to me a lot and I thought it was just a muscle twitch but went to Doc and he said it was muscle spasm from tiredness. So turn off de pc now and go to sleep!

I had that too. Still happens the odd time. I believe that is actually lock jaw. I always wondered what lj was but I'm pretty sure thats what happens when you get it.

    Tetanus / Lock Jaw >

    DESCRIPTION
An acute, often fatal disease, caused by a bacillus and characterized by rigidity and spasmodic contractions of the voluntary muscles. Also called lock jaw, a painful spasm of the jaw muscles which makes it very difficult or impossible to open the mouth. It is the most common symptom of tetanus. Stress and holding tension in the jaw muscles contributes to lockjaw.

I guess it aint lock jaw then but just a cramp of some kind.
