Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I would say don't stay more than 5-6 days in vegas, do the grand canyon and hoover dam

I reckon 3 nights in vegas is enough, especially when you can get the the Grand Canyon by car (As far as I remember it was only 4/5hrs).
If you are staying in vegas - use www.priceline.com to get yer rooms, if you are lucky there won't be any conferences on that week and the hotels will have hundreds of cheap rooms.
Vegas itself doesn't have a whole pile to offer but the strip.

Lots of excellent free lounge acts throughout the day in different casinos. For the love of all that is holy please check out Big Elvis, I think he performs at the Barbary Coast during the day, a few days a week. 500 lbs of sequined-goodness, close your eyes and 'tis like the King himself!
The Aladdin does a GREAT free show in its mall, amazing stuff, different types of performers. Harrahs is a great place to stay, have stayed there many times myself, great bands there. Comedy club is alright too. Remember to take some fancy going-out clothes, Vegas gets very beautiful people (and a hell of a lot of fat ugly ones too!) at the weekends, from LA and so on, hitting the fancy clubs like Light in Bellagio and Rain in the Palms. Rum Jungle down in the Mandalay Bay is nice too, saw a few famous faces on my nights out there.
    I love Las Vegas.
