I'm sorry if this is in the wrong spot I did put a post up in Trading but lads and lassies I'm desperate to get a pair of tickets for the South African test at Landsdowne. I'm a genuine fan I don't care where they are I just would love to go. Its going to be the game of the season in my opinion the yappies are up for a grand slam and the Irish want to stop em cold should be mighty. If no one has tickets can anyone suggest how I might get some apart from a ladder.

Go to a few pubs on the day. Talk to the barman, people there, tell em you're looking for a ticket. Wear your jerseys, and look like normal, real, fans.

If you still haven't gotten tickets 20 mins before the game, walk to the stadium. From there, walk slowly back towards the pubs (i.e. against the flow of pedestrian traffic), shouting repeatedly "Has anyone got a ticket? Anyone a spare ticket?".

Ask the Gardai on the roads - people often give them tix.

This way, you ensure that anything from hundered people know that you need a ticket. One of them might have one. Odds are quite good actually.

Rule 1: Never, ever encourage those thieving low life touts who offer you tickets over face value
Rule 2: If you ever have spare tickets, sell them for no more than cost, to a genuine fan.
