It can be a bit like a French restaurant in terms of customer service!:p
Generally though, I find the lads more craic that at the automaton Vid shops, and they do have waay better films.

what do you need to join this? A pissed off movie shop clerk with a bad attitude makes it sound all the better

proof of address and an ID?

They may take a deposit off you because they have a load of stuff that is unobtainable. When I joined, it meant my first 5 or 6 rentals were free.

It's probably the best place to get movies in town. The staff are ignant as fook and the music that is on when ever I go in there reminds me of Barney Gumble's first solo single outside of the B Sharps - Number 8, blaaah, but the selection of movies is brilliant. They have a lot of box sets too. They cost a tenner a week and are great if you're doing nothing for a few days.

I hate them because they almost (in yer face!) always beat us at the Bazaar movie quiz. Sods.

They didn't do so well when there were pre 1975 movies in the mix though.

    How so Robbo?

Ignorance is cool these days? Or were you referring to the fact that I don't frequent the ****hole anymore?!

Their selection is superb and the I always found the staff to be knowledgeable. I'd rather deal with a cantankerous person who knows their stuff and has an appreciation for cinema than a clueless 17 year old in Xtravision who thinks that the Wayans brothers are cinematic gods.

Maybe I wasn't looking for the right films...
