Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do teachers get a raw deal with regard to their pay / stress / workload ratio?

I am talking about mainly secondary school teachers who have to face 30 screaming hormonal teenagers every morning. I have heard about some real horror stories about what they have to put up with. We all know the sort of thing that goes on. Throwing stuff @ the teacher etc. I have even heard that some teachers in deprived areas are addicted to valium.

Is this a demoralizing profession ? Do teachers have to deal with all of societies problems ? Is there any job satisfaction to be had teaching a class
of 30 were only a handful are taking interest in what you're saying ?

Yes theydo get loads of time off but should they be payed more ? opinions
    (esp. from teachers themselves).

(ps. I am not a teacher and never want to be!)
