Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

(Thankfully) I don’t read IoS, but an article about the seals which were killed in Kerry was brought to my attention…

The article clamed that the seals died of a “highly contagious virus” and then they were “hideously disfigured by seagulls and other scavengers”

The head line read “Embarrassing truth about seal ‘massacre’” – with pictures of articles/covers of other newspapers.

Today, RTE had a different version of the truth "Post mortem examinations on three of the mammals established that one had been shot, another had been bludgeoned to death and a third had died after an instrument had been driven through one of its eyes".

Has IoS lost the plot or is there ANY credibility in the story at all. This sounds too bizarre!!

    Nicely done! :)

The fact that The IoS is owned by The Daily Mail should cast away any doubt of its sanity.... the fact that it attempts to be part news, part celebrity, part history book finishes the deal
