Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    If I am mistaken none of the acts are Irish or have I misread it. We should have a seperate category. Bands like U2, Westlife, Ronan Keating, The Corrs, Picture House, The Devlins, Cranberries or whatever else should be included. Italy for eg. has their own artists which although not know outside of Italy still get recognition in the EMA's. So come on give us our own category!

    First of all, are there actually any Irish bands out there at the moment who deserve a nomination (all the bands you mentioned are either inactive or (possibly) did not meet the standards set by MTV). And secondly, does it really matter? I mean, this is MTV we're talking about; it's hardly an awards show to be taken seriously.

    Well it's kinda hard to place a band like Snow Patrol, and we'd probably be arguing over which island has claim over the band so they just bunched us together. Like the good old days
