    Fantasy:

    Light: any Gemmell
medium but with excellent story: Robin Hobbes' Farseer trilogy...
Heavy: go re-read the Lord of the Rings smile.gif

Another vote for Good Omens!! smile.gif

Otherwise Discworld if you're into comic fantasy: I recommend Guards! Guards!, Men At Arms, Interesting Times.

Magician by Raymond E Feist - the newer "directors cut" one if you can get it.

Also - anything by Prachett is good.
A word of warning before tearing into the Discworld series - if you've not read any Discworld stuff before, do try to read the first one ("The Colour of Magic") as it serves as a good introduction to the characters and universe.

Also - Good Omens rox!!! wink.gif

    All the best,

If your after something non-fantasy take a wee look at "high fidelity" by Nick Hornby.
It's really funny and quite insightful into the Male mind. smile.gif
