    Would "To Live Is To Die" by Metallica be considered an instrumental?

    It has a couple of lines quoted from Cliff Burton that are spoken rather than sung but it anly takes up about 30 seconds of the 9 minute song.

    I wouldn't think so personally, the vocals may be in French but they're still vocals :)

    Parabol is not an instrumental, there are vocals almost the whole way through it.

    wow - couldn't break it down to a single track, but for heavier stuff gotta be mogwai and the redneck manifesto and for more mellow stuff i likes tarentel and do make say think. all big influences - check out the steerage and ahc mp3's at www.sinkorswimrecords.com. both bands are kaput now but interested to see what ye think.
