Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There was a very interesting show on tonight as part of celebrating the 40th anniversary of the BBC documentary series “horizon” .
It was from 1978 and it was all about the (then) revolution being brought about by the microprocessor. It explained how silicon valley came to be and went step-by-step through the production process of the chips themselves.
It featured interviews with politicians of the era who expressed concern that it was going to lead to mass unemployment and various other consequences.
Though there were some highly accurate predictions of what it could be used to do in the future.
Was really interesting to see the way the world was reacting to this revolution.
