    Some bands i have just heard of in the last while, I'd give a spin....

    Pelican ( very like Isis, but with no singing )
    Old Mans Gloom ( includes members of Converge, sludge metalcore !, )
    YOB (very like Electric Wizard, extra slow doom )
    Visceral Bleeding ( They supported Obituary, very good tech. Death Metal )
    Ed Gein ( grindcore, with a little converge, dillinger touch )
    Corpse****ing Art ( brutal gore/grind, think Devourment )
    Prosthetic **** ( Again brutal gore, very like Mortician )
    Mare ( Slow Doom with some very strange breakdowns )

    Not sure is it the new one i got, the album i have here is called "Christmas", very good all the same , I must look out for Seminar II/ Seminar III
