    Ok so he aint gonna go down in history or anything, but I loved reading his books.
    Simple basic enthralling innovative action. Worked every time for me smile.gif

    Anyway...ever see the film "Raise the Titanic"?
    Well the book was written by Clive Cussler.
    Other titles:
    Night Probe
    Pacific Vortex
    Treasure
    Inca Gold

    Most of these made bestsellers list from what the back cover tells me :/

    Ya I like Jack too, but his action was never as fast paced as Clive Cussler.
    Plotwise, I dunno which was better. CC is more outlandish, but altogether more innovative. Jack kinda got yer intrest piqued and u have to read on.

    The book of Raise The Titanic is a cracker, one of the daftest yet most entertaining thrillers ever. Totally ignores facts like the ship breaking in half as it sank so they raise it one piece no bother smile.gif

    The film on the other hand was one of the greatest piles of muck ever - though it did give rise to the classic Lew Grade (producer) quote 'Raise the Titanic? It would have been cheaper to lower the Atlantic!' smile.gif

    Then you'll be glad to hear that another major motion picture of a Cussler book is about to go into production (do i sound like a PR flyer ot what?).

    Sahara (luckily the only Cussler book ive read, a right laff if you leave your brain on top of the bookmark), starring George Clooney as Pitt, and William H Macy as Sandecker.

    And im not bloody kidding either. Go to Dark Horizons (www.darkhorizons.com) if ya dont believe me..

    All you Clive Cussler fans out there will be pleased to know that a film (that I assume to be) based on the book "Night Probe" Has already been released starring Organ Freeman, Christy Canyons and Lusty Ó Toole cool.gif
