Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone else think it's better than what the critics have said? For someone that was never a fan of Jude Law (I've changed my mind now though)...I loved it. One of the best films I've seen all year.

That movie started off with such promise... but I'm afraid it left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I am a fan of Jude Law and I think that he played the part brilliantly, but, this remake wasn't a patch on the original. It was too down to earth and realistic. You're supposed love to hate the cheeky Alfie not feel sorry for him to the point you want to slash your wrists. They made Alfie look a bit TOO pathetic if you ask me. Pure Hollywood cheesiness and extremely disappointing.

Kack, in the original Alfie, he really shows no remorse for his lifestyle, even him seeing the corpse of his recently aborted child can only muster a stifled tear, in the new movie you get about 10 minutes of "Funboy" Alfie and then his crisis of conscience starts. Juse law did look good though

I thought it was rubbish - the orginal is worth a look though!
