Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

imho Phelans for their guinness (beside St. Patricks church)

you'll need an Ice cream scoop to get past the cream

Don't drink stout myself but the quality of ale and lager in some pubs is dire. The Brog (comer rd) is good. Mc Courts (john st) is grand, but only when there is not a dj. Music is too loud in there. Or am i getting old!!!!

Marbel city bar is a nice pub with good bar people if your looking for a night out

I always thought Biddy's was full of hen nights these days...

Had my first ever pint in that bar but before it was called Biddy's...

Can't remember what it was called back then (was it the Marble Arch?)

It was The Arch years ago, great spot when you were a young teen learning how to drink, that and Henderson's.

Every pub in the city centre is full of Hen/Stag Nights these days, they're annoying.

Wouldn't have picked the Brogmaker as a good place for a pint!

Been there a few times for family "do's" in the last year and the pints have always been grand.

the nore bar at greensbridge have the best ale in the city

o'riada's (beside pumphouse) may be an oldmans pub but it too sloshes out a great pint of ale

    soft
    gentle
and no need of a guinness dash
