Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It be nice 2 see an Irish wrestler in WWE

    I think it's about time we saw an Irish wrestler in the WWE, We have William Regal from the U.K. They did have Nathen Johnes as we all know was from down under, How many Japanese wrestlers are there is WWE? Kane ( Glen Jacobs) was born in spain. What about the French Canideans speaking wrestlers they have. I know WWE have Dave Fit Finley working for them, but he is working in the back not in front of our TV's.

    So I feel it would be nice to see some young Irish talent out over there in the U.S. It be great if we had an Irish lad working with the WWE come to Irealnd , what a responce he would get?

    I don't know, I dont think we have the talent. Besides, it would be embarassing to watch, imagine the crap gimmick they would give him.

    twud be nice alright, i can just see it now, paddy "the irish lepracaun" o'toole
    or something crap like that.if they took it seriously, they could have something seriously marketable, and after all, vince comes from irish decent, so he might just handle it with care this time!

    Vince is a twat and an Irish or Orish gimmick would be so bad. Darby O'Gill vs HHH I dont want to see :)

    It would be nice to see an irish guy in WWE, but probably not with an irish Gimmick. I can imagine a red headed, green suited, drunken Irish Rover stumbling to the ring to the Dubliners on the PA.

    Itd be great if it was just a guy who happened to be Irish playing some other character. Maybe me :rolleyes:

    If they ever go for an Irish gimmick, expect it to last all of five minutes and then get bumped off double quick time. Probably in favour of Rosey or some other crap.

    Wasn't there a guy in TNA portraying an Irish character?Apparently when he made his way down to the ring he would hand out lucky charms. :confused:

    An Irish wrestler if it was done in a humorous way could work though.

    i didnt mean to actually create the character, i was just kiddin.if they played oft the fact that he's irish but didnt use any crap gimmicks,it would be fine

    Well to be fair to Vinnny, the original plan was for Hogan to be a guy of Irish descendence(sp). With the success of Samartion and Morales and the appeal the offered their respective minotrity communities(Hispanic, Italian-American), vince thought the logical step would be to have an Irish guy next. Would have happened except Hogan was going bald at the time anyway and didnt want to have to dye his hair orange(shame, would have suited his skin) so they scrapped it. I wonder how that would have actually worked out.
