Will anywhere be open at Wed midnight for Halo 2?

    I was wondering if any shops in Dublin will be open at midnight on Wednesday for the launch of Halo 2? Or is it not that big a deal over here?

    I didn't look in the Halo 2 thread below in case of spoilers :)

    Prebook it in Gamestop and you get a ticket to a Halo 2 launch party in Henry Street on Wednesday night, where you'll be able to buy your copy.

    The Halo2 thread is clean, all the spoilers are in tags (which are very tempting!).

    Not wanting to slag you or anything - but please get a life... it's only a computer game and unless you're gonna stay up all night playing it there's no reason that you couldn't wait till the morning.. ..oh wait, you are going to stay up all night, aren't you!

    Long ago in the mists of time when I worked in Game, someone asked our manager would we be doing a midnight opening. The reply was:

    "It's just a fúcking computer game."

    God I loved working there.
