Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

After tonights game at Flancare Pk against Longford Town, result 2-0, CHF are relegated from the eircom Premier League.

Hard luck to them, but they were by far the worst team in the league all season.

Even though I think Roddys actions were well out of order, CHF are no loss to the Premier Division.

May they never darken its doorstep again.

Bah should have been Rovers, stupid home farm.
CHF are no loss to the Premier Division.

    Sadly UCD replace them.

Looks like Limerick will have to re-apply to the league again for next season. For a team who could barely field 11 players for some games the fact that they will more than likely be in the Eircom league next season is a disgrace. I would love for a different side like Kerry or Mullingar to get a look in at the First division instead...

I agree with that sentiment completely.

Another no-fan club is not needed in the eL.

It needs teams like Galway and possibly Dundalk to make the league interesting to more of the country.

Hopefully this will be UCDs last season in the Premier Division.

The league is becoming more and more professional, and I cant see the student menace holding their own.

I predict a rapid relegation, and subsequent 1st Division obscurity.
