Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Industrial Placements

Next year I do a industrial placement for the year (or 15 months). I am currently studying in the Uk, the university that I attend has a job database but only for companies in the UK and from what I'm told HP in Galway.

Well here is what I'm asking :D

I wouldn't mind working in Dublin for the year (Can live at home save more money that way :D ) Can anyone give me any idea's on what companies offer placements that are a year long?

I know MS offer a work placement but thats pretty much all I can think of. Do larger companies just put anyone in on placement into a room where they do something extremely basic / boring / tedius as they potentially know nothing and could ruin the place? :D
