Use a nominal comparison against a Variable one. That is the most common package out there and should tell you how you are doing relatively

    Start with 0

Each month you add 254 (the max)+25%+(2.0%/12) (the base rate divided by 12)

Add to the opening balance for that month thus :

    =(254*0.25)+(opening Balance)*(2.0/12)

= Closing balance = opening balance for next month

Repeat with ye olde copy and paste 59 times in the worksheet.

    Hop to it.

Tell us how yours performs and we can have a natter about the SSIA's and what 2 do with them seeing as I'll have me hands on mine within 19 months ! I can almost smell it .

Right now I'm up 39% including the governments 25%, but it didnt look like that last year
By my shady maths the fund has given me a return of 5.8% on what I myself invested.

I'm 100% Equity with AIB, full contributions and I started on day 1.

Here is an Excel Spreadsheet to calculate your SSIA's
inspired by Muck but modified while it was Excelled.....

Remove the .zip and stick in the rate you want to compare to...

<edit> note that this calculates interest monthly, yours may be done annually.... </edit>
