Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    From the official Leeds website:
"Leeds United Football Club can confirm that it has arranged a sale-lease back agreement on its Elland Road ground which enables it to clear the Trefik loan.

The Club has negotiated a 25-year sale-lease back deal with a commercial buy-back provision for when the club’s finances improve.

The current board has reduced the club’s debts from in-excess of £100 million to £25million since it saved Leeds United from collapse in March.

This sale leaseback deal reflects financial decisions the Board had to make when it stepped in to save the Club eight months ago. Leeds United has now paid off the Trefick loan in full, avoiding any penalty payments.

Gerald Krasner confirmed: 'In an ideal world it’s not an option we would have taken, but our number one priority is to reduce this club’s debt so it can operate again under normal circumstances. This arrangement puts us into a much stronger financial footing.

'Instead of paying the mortgage on Elland Road, we will be renting it instead and we have ensured that we have the option to not only use the ground in the long term, but to purchase back the ground when the opportunity arises.

'As repeatedly stated in the past, football remains at Elland Road.'"

Altho they may remain dirty you gotta feel for them.

It just goes from bad to worse for us. It'll all end with some sort of good news some day, but I won't be holding my breath waiting for it :(
