Does anyone know if there'd be any problems with customs getting a sword sent to Ireland from abroad? I was just about to order one as a present but was wondering if it'd be at all dodgy...

I'd say it'll probably okay but I just want to be sure.

You can buy them around town (Dublin). Stephens Green Shopping Centre for example, or that Martial Arts place near the AIB - cant think of the name of the street, but if you continue down Henry Street, beyond Jervis Centre, past Toymaster, it'll be on the left just before you hit the AIB.

Celestial Ring in Stephen's Green do them
    Treasure Ireland on Wicklow St
The place in the Georges St Arcade (you'll see it they're all in the window)
The place Mixie mentioned (Capel St btw)

    Probably easier than importing them
