I had a brillant time, stayed away for over 60 hours, I was total
exhausted there last night coming home,
The train was a great laugh a good load of us went, about 13, and by
the time we had got to central brussels for the train change we had
all lost each other by getting on eariler trains etc. but we met a few
other dub heads on the train, we called it the "party train" was only
3 carriages and we were in the luggage one so there was more standing
space than sitting down. cut to the chase,
The event, loads of people outside looking for tickets. I even gots me
a nice ILT lighter for doing a survey full of ****e,
I had seen miss kitten, she played well better than I expected, and
had caught the prodigy which were brillant, pitty about a lot of
people not being allowed into the green room for them because it was
too full. but I had been in the green room for most of the night,
caught the usual dj rush can't remember much of him, I thought anthony
rothers live set was good, never seen him live before dont even think
I seen a dj set from him either, his voice sounds so different than
when he is doing vocals than talking. I also thought the chomper that
climed up the scaffolding and swinging upside down that eld the
speakers was funny(don't ask me why) but then every cheered him on and
then decieded to throw **** at him haha
highlight that really made it for me was lektroluv, The person i've
been looking forward to seeing for about 2 years and finally got to
see him, played as good as I expected and had listened to his other sets
I have **** all energy to write anymore about it, but defo think I'm
gona book next year again, and I think I'll get accomadation this time
unlike the weekend, will book the holiday inn, its litterly right
besside it, also people were going mad for ticketes I got offered
200euro for my ticket hours before the event!
I also feel sorry for them ammount of irish that went over with no
tickets, if your going to do all the traveling and booking flights -
at least book ****ing tickets to the event, lots of them didn't get to
go into ilt becuase they had no tikets including some of my mates
ryanair are ****ers too, wouldnt let one of my mates onto the plane
cause his passport went in the wash and the sides were a bit pealed,
wanted to sell him a seat on the next fight for 60euros so they could
"get it sorted" wouldn't let another on the flight because they clamed
he was locked and he was the most sobar out of the lot of us!
also out of 13 people who went, only 4 of us returned home on the
flight we had booked!
still ain't heard what happened or were the rest are now lol

Whats the Techno scene like in Dublin thesedays?when i was into it years ago it was mostly studenty geeks into it (i was NOT one of them i may add) and they were all too serious about the music,personally id be more into old skool German/Belgian Techno,was never really a fan of the American minimal **** although ive seen loads of American Techno DJ`s and a lot of them have been good and have playued right across the board... :cool:

Lost yourselves at some stage during the night and was buzz'n with a couple of english women. They wanted me to help them find their mates who apparently had 2ci but we gave up eventually and went to see Felix. His decks were bolloxed and he killed the set at least 3 times..like some of what he played but it wasnt great.

Went back to the womens appartment in ghent the next morning for a few splifs and a bit of a sleep and decided to try and get on a sunday flight back to dublin as i knew there were atleast 20 free seats ....

Ended up loosing my bank card and getting stuck in brussels and it only went down hill from there.

letroluv was very cool but was too light compared to what pet duo were doin so i went back to them.
