Cant believe theres a Cake pi forum CLASS!!! woohoo!

Cheesecake for me, I love to make it when I can.

Grind up some digestive biscuits, put some butter and sugar in and mix well then put in fridge.
Take fromage frais and creme fraische (I think heh) and mix with lemon and orange rind. Then mix with gelatine and put onto digestive base.

    YUM! Cheesecake all the way.

I love cheesecake. Haven't had it in far too long, though... Last one was one from the McCafe on Grafton Street, and... well, it was something, but it wasn't cheesecake.
And not to forget, cheesecake's cousin, the torte (or however the hell its spelt). Also delicious!

Depends on the cheesecake. I actually prefer cheap cheesecake, it's more yoghurty, not as heavy.

My favourites are Strawberry and Baileys (yum yum yum). Don't like Lemon or Chocolate(especially chocolate, yuck).

Baked Cheesecake is the best cheesecake ever. I dont know how they make it (I think there is some baking involved?) but it just tastes great. The cheesie bit is way heavier and is not so light and fluffy that it will just blow away in the wind.

You'd have to ask monty, I'm afraid, I don't know what he's made of.
It may be cheese it may be skin and bones and organs, but it may also be some other substance that i don't even know about it.

if it is cheese... that means he is like the moon. Maybe he is the man on the moon?

... I think I may be on to something.

    *Moonty ;)*

For pure decadence, deep fried baked cheescake is the ultimate. Only had it once - got the waitress all bothered by asking if it was fried in cholesterol free oil :D

all these crazy flavours defeat the purpose of having a CHEESEcake. mmm cheesey.

anyone notice the way the biscuit base is always too thin?
I DEMAND MORE BISCUIT BASE! tis the best part, every cheesecake should be AT LEAST one third biscuit base.

    mmm biscuity buttery goodness

I'm not sure whether I like it or not, every one I buy taste from cafés etc don't taste the best, then when I make a cheapo one from a packet at home I can't get enough of it, where does one get good cheesecake these days.....like the one that featured in Friends with Chandler and Rachel.
