Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A friend is coming over from Scotland and wants to travel up to Sligo. She's just asked me how long it will take to drive there from Dublin, but it's a trip I've never done. What would be a fairly average journey time?

In my experience, about 3 and a half hours!

EDIT: Your friend's crazy wanting to come up to Sligo? I've lived all my life - and hate the place! :)

    Thanks Basquille.

She's meeting some friend of her's up there but her friend has only moved there from Scotland recently and hasn't driven to Dublin yet so had no idea how long it would take. Never been up that part of the country myself, but I've always heard good reports about Sligo. Maybe there's another Sligo somewhere...

Why not fly? - my boss here flew for only €60 - no hassle of the traffic - rent a car when your friend gets there!
