The Backlash switch boards were literally jammed last night with
sightings of Backlash posters on RTE's new show 'Love is the Drug', we
know now that it was all worth all the hard work and fully expect the RTE
'youth demographic' to beat a path down to South William Street
this Thursday night.

To entertain them this week is what we call a residentialas nocturnal
(residents night) which means you'll hear the Backlash sound so pure and
uncut that Pablo Escobar himself would try to import it and have it on the
Street by Thursday.

This means you'll be getting sets from Philth who showed why we keep
him around when he took the Backlash sound to POGO(keep an eye out
for this night, promises great things) at Crawdaddy where it was shook to
its very foundations on Saturday.

On point is Jon Averill who's had one hell of a good year which started by
being made a Backlash resident, (the highest of honours) along with a
well received set at Oxegen(available in the mixes section of our website
very soon), along with supporting Chicken Lips, Queens of Noize, LCD
Soundsystem, playing TRASH New York and upcoming gigs in Long Island
Ice Tea in Leicster Square in London.

Warming us up on this cold evening is CD-R emperor Romo with a
passionate and encyclopedic knowledge of music which we hope he'll
display entirely through DJing this time.

sounds like a decent nite..1 thing though whats the story about getting into that Wax?Ive heard the bouncers there are arseholes like the ones who used to do the POD years ago and "pick and choose" who they wanted to let in and who they werent letting in,thats part of the reason i rarely go out to clubs in town anymore cant be dealing with hassle trying to get into some fcukin club.

Not at all, they are well sound. Runners, jeans, t-shirt and no probs getting in. You should get down, good fun is always had.

Yeah, they pretty much don't hassle people going down to Wax anymore,
They changed the door policy when Bodytonic took over last year.
