Yeah Primordial are alright, their sound is hard to get into if youve just gotten into black metal, but otherwise they rule. Check out Isis' new album too. Its rather good.

    Great singer pity he died.
At least I got to see him at Ozzfest before he did.

    Postman visited today:

Angels Of Light - Angels of Light Sing "Other People": Nice cd, some full band versions of Michael Gira's solo stuff that he released last year. Kind of country feel mixed with A Silver Mt Zion.

The Body Lovers/Body Haters - The Body Lovers/Body Haters: Drones, found sounds and very ambient, stripped down music. Highlight of today's cd's so far.

Mount Vernon Astral Temple - Musick That Destroys Itself: More drones but not as good as Body Lovers/Body Haters.

Tod Dockstader - Aerial #1: Musique concrete but I haven't listened to it yet.

Barry Adamson and Pan Sonic - Motorlab #3: Haven't listened to this one either, I'm guessing it's some sort of electronica considering Pan Sonic are on board. But Barr Adamson suggests some sort of scary blues/jazz.

No Dopesmoker? Shame on John2 :o

It's on my list. And I really have a list, it's two A4 pages of titles. Dopesmoker is one of many but it has priority. I ordered a **** load of things from different places so I'm waiting til I have them all and listen to them before I make any more purchases.

    Now, what will tomorrow bring?

I've got all my NIN in Dublin. Apart from the Closure videos and the new single. That includes a very rare DJ copy of Broken on vinyl. Very very very nice.

Was at Thighpaulsandra last night (free jazz/krautrock/prog type thing) and got the following albums by him:

    Some Head
    I Thighpaulsandra
    Double Vulgar
    Double Vulgar II

They also had little face cloths for sale. Well I think they are more accurately described as **** towels as they had "Cum On Thighpaulsandra" embroidered on them. Didn't get one.
