Last CD you bought?

Stuff I ordered aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages ago arrived today:

Coil - ANS:
Only listened to two of the three cd's and haven't watched the dvd yet. Very cool ambient sounds. Done on the ANS machine in Russia (uses images to make music).

Larsen - Play:
Italien instrumental rock. Folk influence. Uses the Godspeed method of songwriting: start slow, build up slowly, CRESCENDO!, slow down, stop. Great cd.

The Hafler Trio - Á Ég Ad, Halda Afram?:
Very different to is other releases that I have. Not as minimalist, he uses beats on this recording, unexpected. Usual excellent packaging.

Wolf Eyes - **** The Old Miami:
Haven't listened to it yet but one side of the lp has a drawing engraved into it (over the music on that side!). Looks great!

Angels of Light - New Mother:
Haven't listened to it yet. Limited edition white vinyl, ooh!

Excellent baráge of sounds and eccentric drum & guitar peaces

I love it-would love to get more of there stuff and plan to!

Get The Director's Cut next, followed by the first album and then get Delirium Corda. Buy some Tomahawk while you're at it, you won't regret it.

Yes because I don't like to pay for mp3's and to download them for free is pure thuggery. I respect the musicians who make the music I like so I make sure they make money from what they do. Musicians are ripped off left, right and centre, support your favourite artists, buy their music.

They do charge so much but you can generally get them cheaper off the band's website or other site's that don't put on such a large mark up. I've no problem with downloading to get a sample of a band, just a problem with people who would rather download an album and not give any money to the band.
