My to get list grows exponentially every day. Made an internet purchase there, Jarboe - The Conduit (5cd box). One cd isn't recorded yet, when you order you have to write a word and Jarboe then will incorporate all the words submitted into a new piece. I picked '21' as I bought myself the box as a 21st birthday pressie.

My to-get list is almost 2kb, although that does include DVDs. Overall, thats a lot of getting.

within temptation - "mother earth" and "the slient force"
i haven't actually got mother earth yet but it's on the way
the song's i heard from it already are pretty cool
i'm getting more into the gothic metal side of things these days...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,130 ✭✭✭✭Karl Hungus

I've got Mother Earth... Didn't think that much of it. Definetly nice orchestrations, but a little too Nightwish cash-in, I felt.

Speaking of Gothic Metal though, you got much My Dying Bride?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,459 ✭✭✭Blisterman

I've stopped getting CDs since I realised, I only burn them onto my PC and listen to them there and never the actual CD.

I just copy a minidisc and listen to that but sometimes you find a band who put the effort into the booklet which really justifies the purchase, such as the new Mastodon cd. Great album, fantastic booklet too.
