I'm about 17% into the game so far. I've just got So have a missed out on some fun stuff or will I have a chance to go back later in the game?

little hint that i found out to late:
if you dies or fail during the firetruck bit, you can just go back to smokes crack house and take up the mission again at the middle point (start of chase).I only found this out after, getting so annoyed that i didnt catch CJ's bro that i turned the ps2 off in disgust.
