    They finally managed to do the testflight today.

    Nasa flew an unmanned experimental jet on Tuesday to a speed that was in excess of nine times the speed of sound - a world record.
    No mention yet as to what the actual speed was.

    I think the mention of Mach 9.7 is the best we are going to get.

    Think its cool that they are doing more for propulsions technolgies instead of relying on the rocket formula.

    So anyone want bets on the speed of light yet? :confused: :rolleyes:
