Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Personally i love 'It's a wonderful life', always a christmas favorite. one of my favourite films af all time to boot. of course the obligatory die hard/superman etc. movies are now a staple part of any christmas movie diet.

I rented Elf last night (for the 4th time) =)

But my favourite xmas movie has to be The Santa Claus (the Tim Allen version) - its much better than that one made in the 70's or 80's!

    It's gotta be Die Hard.

But then again, you've also got Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.

The Die Hard films are ****. You watch them once, and once only. That gay annoying tone of bruce willis`s voice is so stoopidly "put-on" sounding.

Indianna jones beat them any day.
ANd the Robin hood cartoon yoke thats an hr long is class. Anyone know the name of that. Was on a few different christmas`s.

Actually, cinematically, the first Die Hard is an example of the perfect film on paper.

The story line, the progression, each of the characters roles and the imagery in the film are all perfect. They all follow the old spagetti westerns, which are refered to throughout the film...

I'm not going to type it all.

So basically what your saying is that the Die hards films are ****?

    Yes, yes i agree.

For me, the winner is "It's a Wonderful Life."

I know it's clichéd but for me it is the ultimate Xmas movie.

I also love National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
