    Well if you define favourite as the most listened to over my entire life then it'd be U2. But basically the only thing my favourite bands have in common is a good bass line and that they're non-manfuctured bands.

    Except the odd Spice girls track and 5ive's seminal classic "Get on up"

    Concert in the point June 4th....go to it.

    Illkillya , Dave Mathews Band are quite posibly the best, most original sounding group I have heard in a very long time.

    As for my fav band it would be a toss up between The Counting Crows and DMB.

    Before anyone (stapo) gets in before me, my favourite band in the whole wide world ever are 'Picture House'...believe it or believe it not. Coming in a close second is thats right..Wacko Jacko. Between them they have the best tunes on the planet.

    Picture House are a great band, met them a couple of times when they played in Castlebar. Sound bunch of lads they are too.

    Why have the Spice Girls been overlooked? Oh well.

    My favourite bands at the moments would have to be; Sevendust, Slipknot, and Pennywise.

    I also like almost any other rock/punk/metal band you can mention wink.gif

    REM - Automatic is the greatest album of all time..
    Radiohead - The Bends is the second.
    Counting Crows- MR JONES and meeeeee..
    Supergrass- humping away on the stereo
    U2- innnn theee nammmee off loveeee
    Jeff Buckley- The greatest voice ive ever heard RIP
    Aimee Mann- can anybody tell me where to get her albums, cant find them anywhere
    eels- Thats Goddamn right

    And an infinite amount more. Of course lets not forget the greatest band ever to come out of Castlebar: The Death Metal Ceili Band!!

    aimee mann can be gotten at any good dublin store.
    however, her new album, bachelor no.2 is only curently available on aimeemann.com
    the soundtrack to magnolia is her's too.
    she is the best though isn't she?
    just superb music. if you like her, buy the new fiona apple cd, which is produced by john brion and rocking suitably too.
