Fourscore and not seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent
a new club, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all clubs
are not created equal...

Who would have thought the Backlash team would have enjoyed so much success,
with some of the biggest and most influential names in dance music including
Chicken Lips, Jacques Lu Cont and locals Hystereo dropping in to pay our little
basement club and that support for our home grown talent would be as strong.

Self congratulation aside we invite you to join us to celebrate with residents
Philth, Jon Averill, Chewy, Steve Reynolds and Romo. We're not bothered with
having a complete retrospectus of a year in Backlash we're out to ensure you
have as good a night as we plan too.

Every party needs extra entertainment, and rather then compare them to clowns!
we have bootleg magicians X*Rox stretching and contorting stone cold Backlash
classics like some kind of balloon animal.
Look out for some of their more popcentric bootlegs for the upcoming new series
of MTV's Mash but this Thursday they'll be casting off the Corporate Bootleggers
stigma with a 3 x CDJ set of acid-fuelled, echo-drenched electrogrooves overlaid
with samples, loops n FX. This is their last Backlash show for a while so don't
miss this one.
