Oh well, I visited all the Western Ireland from Malin to Mizen, and I must say that not only Skellig Michael and Boyne Valley are worthy to be inserted in the Unesco list.

In example Cong (County Mayo) is an heaven, with its Ashford Castle, the Abbey and all the gardens and rivers near the Lough Corrib.

    What do you think about?

We're not very good at that kind of official listing in Ireland.

What kind of numbers of these sites are there in other countries?

Next time, Etrurian, visit the east too! The Wicklow Hills, the Dublin Mountains, the Glens of Antrim, the sea coasts of Wexford, the long string of Norman and Gaelic castles across the midlands - especially the old (O'Brien?) castle on the Rock of Cashel.
